For building work, the type of personal information we collect:

For jobs vacancies, the type of personal information we collect:

Information provided on your CV - this may include your name, address, contact number, email address, proof of self-employment, right to work status and other information that may be required as part of your role.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

· to provide a quote for building/construction work

· to provide more information about the services we offer

· to arrange delivery for goods required for the project that we are undertaking for you

· to process any paperwork/admin required for your project

· to consider you for a position with the company 

We use the information that you have given us in order to complete the services you have requested. We may need to share this information with other third party suppliers i.e. to a supplier, to a delivery driver or other project related supplier.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are: 

(a) your consent

(b) we have a contractual obligation

(c) we have a vital interest

(d) we need it to perform a public task

(e) we have a legitimate interest

Withdrawing consent  

You have the right to withdraw your consent by emailing admin@novapgroup.uk 

How we store your data

Your data is stored on a secure email server and our secure database which is accessed by company admins only. Some information may also be stored on a Business WhatsApp number or mobile number owned by the founder of Novap Group.

Retention period

· Your data is stored for a period of 2 years from when you have made contact with Novap Group, for building work.

· If applying for a vacancy then your CV will be stored for the duration of your agreement with Novap. 

· Novap do not retain CV's of unsuccessful candidates - they are deleted within 3 months. 

Your data protection rights  

Under data protection law, you have rights including:  

· Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.  

· Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete. 

· Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.  

· Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. 

· Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.  

· Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.  

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.  Please contact us at admin@novapgroup.uk if you wish to make a request.
